Lunarpages ® is good low cost web hosting company.  Some negative reviews get a lot of attention, but they have a large number of very satisfied customers.  Their low cost option will always make them competitive and the specials they offer create an even more attractive package.  Therefore, it ultimately comes down how much support you believe you will need.  If you are looking for a low cost provider, this is very good company; however, if a large degree of customer support will be needed, you will probably be more happy with a company that puts a greater emphasis in this area.
